Wheaton's identity is shaped by Wheaton College and a historic downtown that has helped preserve much of the city's older housing stock. The neighborhoods within walking distance of the campus and the train station include significant late-19th- and early-20th-century homes Victorians, Foursquares, and Tudor Revivals with original cabinetry that homeowners typically take pride in maintaining. The newer parts of the city feature mid-century and modern construction across consistent residential streets.

Each era benefits from rollouts in a different way. The historic homes need careful retrofits that don't touch original woodwork. The newer homes need full-extension hardware that the original builders rarely specified. We do both.
