Elk Grove Village was one of the original planned post-WWII communities in the Chicago area, developed largely between the 1950s and 1970s with carefully laid-out residential streets and consistent housing stock ranches, split-levels, bilevels, and the occasional tri-level filling the neighborhoods between Higgins and Devon. The cabinets in these homes are remarkably consistent and remarkably retrofittable.

We've worked across the village extensively. The standard Elk Grove Village kitchen retrofit is six to ten cabinets converted in a single day, with rollout drawers replacing the deep fixed shelves that were original to the homes. The result is a kitchen that works the way the homeowner always assumed it would.
