Lombard's housing stock is older and more layered than most of its DuPage County neighbors. The blocks near the historic downtown and Lilacia Park include early-20th-century homes Foursquares, bungalows, and Tudor Revivals with original cabinetry that homeowners have often preserved. The mid-century neighborhoods filling much of the village feature solid post-WWII ranches and splits. Newer construction is sprinkled throughout, particularly in the southern reaches of the village.

Each era brings its own retrofit. We've worked in original 1920s kitchens, in 1960s splits, and in newer customs. The build is the same: solid hardwood, real dovetails, Blum® hardware with a lifetime warranty.
